Wine for Hope event is Saturday in Boardman

BOARDMAN — The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is announcing a Wine for Hope event to take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.

Jack Gocala Sr., retired police chief at Youngstown State University, is the recipient of the the Honorary Chairman & H.O.P.E. Award for Lifetime Achievement.

The event will include wine tasting, gourmet food stations, exquisite jewelry, music, raffles, a silent auction and entertainment by Simply Ed Productions.

Proceeds benefit chronically and terminally ill children of the Mahoning Valley.
