Pa. Turnpike website down until early Wednesday

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission says its website, www.paturnpike.com, will be unavailable for several hours starting tonight at 7 p.m. for upgrades to be made.

All information normally available from the website, including traffic notifications, will not be available until the upgrades have been made. The website is set to be back online in the early morning hours Wednesday.

For emergencies, motorists are still asked to dial *11 on their cellphones or smartphones.
