Murder-suicide suspected in shootings of 3 in Cleveland
CLEVELAND (AP) — Police suspect murder-suicide in the fatal shootings of two women and a man in Cleveland.
Cleveland police say their preliminary investigation indicates a 48-year-old man apparently shot himself after fatally shooting a woman thought to be his 47-year-old ex-wife and a 19-year-old woman described as his girlfriend. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the man as Magnus Dotson.
Police say they found the man in a vehicle in his driveway about 1 a.m. today, apparently dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The medical examiner identified the 19-year-old woman as Amanda House. Authorities found her dead inside Dotson’s house with multiple gunshot wounds.
The 47-year-old woman was found dead in a nearby house and also suffered gunshot wounds. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
Police continue to investigate. No motive was released.
