Expect traffic stops Tuesday on SR 11 north and southbound under US Route 224

CANFIELD — Beginning on Tuesday and continuing through Thursday, state Route 11 northbound and southbound under U.S. Route 224 will have brief periods of stopped traffic between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. lasting for a maximum of 15 minutes for bridge beam removal, says a news release from the Ohio Department of Transportation.

This is part of a $6.5 million project to replace and widen the Route 224 bridge over Route 11, widen Raccoon Road at Route 224 and widen the Route 11 southbound ramp to Route 224. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by October.
