Announcing their engagement are Dr. Sarah Baker and Christopher Clancy, both of Chicago.
The prospective bride is the daughter of Chuck and Cathy Baker of Ellsworth.
Mr. Clancy is the son of Michael and Roseanne Clancy of Plainfield, Ill.
The couple will exchange vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Chicago on May 2.
Dr. Baker graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in veterinary medicine. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from OSU.
She is a veterinarian at Blum Animal Hospital of Chicago.
The future groom is a graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management and residential property management.
He is a construction manager with MO2 Properties in Chicago.
