AUSTINTOWN — A garage was broken into and buildings spray painted over the weekend.
Authorities were called to the 3600 block of Oakwood Avenue by the owner of a garage late Saturday afternoon.
Police said a person or some people rammed a car into his garage, stole a 5-foot tall by 3-foot wide iron wood burner valued at $500 and spray painted other buildings belonging to the owner. It happened sometime between 9 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
A spray paint can and clothing located within one of the buildings were taken as evidence. Township detectives are investigating the case.
