MAY

3 — Sponsors Classic Golf Association at Windmill Lakes Golf Club. Two-man, best-ball event with a blind draw. Membership dues are $20. Each event has a $15 entry fee. Email scga@earthlink.net for more information.

3 — Lady Clippers softball team nine hole scramble. Four-person teams. Event is $30 per person or $120 per team. All proceeds go to the Clipper softball team. Call the pro shop at 330-482-9464 for more details.

9 — Howland Boys Golf Fund-raiser. 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at Tamer Win Golf & Country Cub. Cost is $300 per team. Four-person scramble. A 50-50 raffle and skins game will be available. Lunch and dinner will be provided. Entry deadline is May 4. Cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted. Checks payable to Howland Booster Club, Boys Golf Team. LEAGUE NOTICES

Packard Electric Ladies Golf League — League play begins May 11 at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club and Tuesday, May 12 at Vienna Short Holes. New members must provide a documented handicap or can establish a handicap prior to beginning league play. Cost is $26 to join one division or $28 for both. Checks, made payable to Packard Electric Ladies Golf League, should be mailed by May 4 to: Carol Calhoun, 1000 Janet Lane N.E., Warren, Ohio 44481. Contact information should be included with payment. Tamer win will be open for league play May 4 for any members who wanted to play a practice round or establish a handicap. First Tee of Sharon — Registration will take place Thursday, April 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at Buhl Farm Park Golf Course. Cost is $25 per golfer, $40 for a family of two and $55 for a family of three or more. Lessons are for children who have completed first grade or are ages 7 and up.

Davidson’s Wednesday Night Golf League — at Diamond Back Golf Course is looking for two men’s teams for league starting Wednesday. Shotgun start at 5:30 p.m. For more information call Rich at 330-533-7581.
