Pastor anniversary

Pastor James C. Bowie of Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 646 Lakewood, will celebrate his fifth anniversary during a service at 10:30 a.m. April 26 with Minister Kenny Eldridge of Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center.
At 3 p.m., Pastor Michael H. Harrison Sr. of Union Baptist Church will speak.
First Friday speaker

SNbSBrother Michael O’Neill McGrath, an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, will be the featured speaker when the First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown meets May 7 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
He is a native of Philadelphia and now lives and works in Camden, N.J., where he is parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. His topic will be “Exploring the Relationship between Art and Faith.”

Christian Associates of the Shenango Valley will host its annual dinner at 6:30 p.m. May 5 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Road. Penn-Ohio Singers will present a musical program.
Donation is $15 or two for $27. Reservation forms are available at Shenango Valley churches or call 724-981-4272. Prepaid reservations are required by April 27. No tickets will be available at the door.
