Alzheimer's fundraising event is Saturday in Poland

POLAND — The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter’s inaugural Mahoning Valley “Paint the Night Purple” benefit is Saturday at The Lake Club.

Festivities get underway at 6 p.m. with a cash bar and social hour, and dinner is at 7 p.m. Also, there is music and entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $75 per person and patron tickets are $125.

Michaelene (Mickey) Meelich of Canfield is the 2015 volunteer honoree; and a Sebring couple, Dr. Christopher and Mrs. Marilyn King, will receive the 2015 Inspiration Award. For ticket information, call Helen Paes at 330-533-3300.
