Niles man arrested for Boardman burglary


BOARDMAN — A Niles man faces multiple charges after U.S. Marshals arrested him on warrants Tuesday and handed him over to Boardman police.

Joshua Heitman, 35, is charged with felony counts of violation of a protection order and burglary, and misdemeanor counts of domestic violence and aggravated trespass after a victim reported Monday that Heitman, her ex-fiance, entered her Lockwood Boulevard home by force, kicked her in the leg and left with some of his belongings that he left there.

Heitman was taken to the Mahoning County jail. He is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Thursday.
