Dallas police fatally shoot suspect in 2 Oregon deaths

DALLAS (AP) — A Dallas-area man suspected of killing two people and wounding another in Oregon has been fatally shot by police in Texas.

Dallas police said in a statement today that officers killed Colby Robinson during a chase in DeSoto, 15 miles south of Dallas. A bystander was wounded in the Tuesday night incident.

Robinson had been charged with two counts of aggravated murder in the Friday night shooting deaths of Gary Pham and his sister-in-law, Susie Pham, whose husband was wounded in the attack.

Portland police say the victims were involved in the medical marijuana industry. Investigators aren't sure if that played a role in the attack.

Dallas police said a woman who was hit by stray police gunfire is in a hospital in stable condition.
