Austintown police investigate burglary

AUSTINTOWN

A home here was broken into while the owner was away on vacation.

Someone broke through a window and entered a home in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard through a back door sometime between Sept. 15 and Monday. The incident was reported to authorities at 7:33 p.m. Monday.

Burglars or a burglar took a Playstation gaming system, a flatscreen television and a jar of change. A neighbor had been keeping an eye on the house for the neighbor who had been on vacation for two weeks. The house was gone through, with dresser drawers pulled open and items thrown around the house.
