Katelyn Smith and John Warren, both of Gahanna, Ohio, are engaged and planning an October wedding, their parents are announcing.
She is the daughter of Bonnie and Steve Smith of Austintown, and he is the son of Leslie and Peter Warren of Chardon, Ohio.
The vows will be exchanged in an open 1:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 25 at Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Matthias Church in Youngstown. Invitations are being issued for a reception to take place that evening at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
Miss Smith, a graduate of Kent State University, earned a degree in fashion merchandising. She is employed as a sales manager for Macy’s in Columbus.
Mr. Warren, also a KSU graduate, earned a degree in business administration. He is employed as a sales consultant for Car Max in Columbus.
