The Austintown library hosted its monthly Movie Matinee event on Sept. 20.
The program was started in June. The first movie shown was “Frozen,” and “The Lego Movie” was shown in July. For August, “Muppets Most Wanted” was scheduled to be shown, but since no one attended that event the movie was moved back to September.
“It’s just something for families to do on a Saturday afternoon, get together and spend time together as a family,” Austintown library children’s librarian Nikki Puhalla said.
Puhalla said anyone coming to the event would have a great time.
“Spending time with their family,” she said when asked what attendees would get out of coming. “Just something different to do on a Saturday.”
