Liberty police investigating burglary

LIBERTY — Police were called to Marlane Drive at 3:37 this morning for a report of a burglary.

The homeowner said he heard a noise in the garage, checked and saw two men trying to steal an oxygen tank. They ran away and jumped his fence.

The homeowner told police he leaves the garage door open for a family pet.
