Gerber-DeMarco wedding plans are announced

Larissa Gerber and Michael DeMarco, both of Columbus, are engaged, their parents are announcing.

She is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Jeffrey Gerber of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael DeMarco of Canfield.

The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 11 in a 3 p.m. open ceremony at First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia. Invitations will be issued for the reception, to be at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas, also in New Philadelphia.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She works as a registered nurse at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.

The prospective groom also is a graduate of OSU with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He works as a registered nurse for OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
