Campbell police arrest 3 Youngstowners on drug charges

CAMPBELL — City police arrested three people on drug-related charges in just as many hours Thursday.

At 11:30 a.m., police arrested Antonio D. Taylor, 47, of Detroit Avenue in Youngstown on charges of driving under suspension, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and prescription label required, and Stephanie D. Hopkins, 49, also of Detroit Avenue, on a charge of permitting abuse of drugs. In the car, police found two plastic bags containing a total of 20 pills.

Shortly after 1 p.m., police arrested Emanuel Thomas, 58, of West LaClede Avenue in Youngstown for possession of drug paraphernalia. A glass crack pipe was found in his front pocket during a traffic stop; the driver of the car, 59-year-old Henry Jones of Dorothy Avenue in Youngstown, also was arrested for driving under suspension.
