He and his wife, Alyce, above center, welcomed many community leaders and others, including Wendy Danscomb, Miss USA 1969. The mall, Cafaro's third, has grown into a mega-retail, entertainment complex, and the company he founded is now the largest privately-held mall developer in the country.
