The Ohio Department of Transportation is starting some new projects and continuing others in Trumbull County.

In Lordstown starting Thursday, Highland Avenue between Brunstetter Road and Burnett East Road will have daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. Beginning Monday, Palmyra Road between Ellsworth-Bailey Road and the Warren corporation limit will have daily lane restrictions for resurfacing.

In Weathersfield, Austintown-Warren Road between Salt Springs Road and Burnett East Road has daily lane restrictions. This work is part of $590,000 project to resurface the road.

In McDonald, Marshall Road between McDonald Avenue and the Girard city limit has daily lane restrictions for resurfacing.

In Cortland, Main Street between state Route 5 and Walnut Street is closed through early December for a bridge replacement. The detour is High Street to Fowler Road to Ridge Street.

In McDonald, Olive Street between Ohltown-McDonald Road and Summit Avenue is closed through June 2016 for a bridge replacement. The detour is Ohltown-McDonald Road to Belmont Avenue to Olive Street.

In Braceville Township, state Route 5 between state Route 534 and state Route 82 is closed through mid-October for a culvert replacement. The detour is state Route 534 to state Route 82.

State Route 82 between the Portage County line and State Route 534 have daily lane restrictions for bridge repairs and road resurfacing.

In Hubbard Township, these lane restrictions and closures are in place along Interstate 80 and Mount Everett Road:

Mount Everett under I-80 is closed through mid-October 2016 for road construction. The detour is U.S. Route 62/state Route 7 to state Route 304 to Bell Wick Road.

I-80 east and west over Mount Everett has lane restrictions for bridge repairs. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph through this part of I-80.

In Niles and Warren, these locations are reduced to one lane of traffic maintained by flaggers for resurfacing:

State Route 169 between the northern Niles corporation limit and Fairview Road in Warren; and U.S. Route 422 from Ridge Road to North Road.

In Warren, Route 422 between Southern Boulevard and Linda Drive has lane restrictions for drainage repairs.
