Woman arrested for OVI at Austintown racino

AUSTINTOWN — A woman was arrested on operating a vehicle under the influence after an accident in the parking lot of Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course late Friday.

Elizabeth M. Hacon, 27, of Idaho Road, was arrested on OVI and refused chemical testing after failing three tests at the crash site Friday night, according to a report on the incident.

A female driver said Hacon stopped abruptly, causing her to rear-end Hacon. Hacon told police she had had only one drink at 2 p.m. Friday and later told police she had a second one at 5 p.m. Friday and had taken her prescribed medication before the accident.

She was due in Mahoning County Area Court in the township on the charge Monday.
