St. John’s Church to host block party tonight to honor Jim and Ellen Tressel

YOUNGSTOWN

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., is hosting a block party 5 to 7 p.m. today, Sept. 22 to welcome Jim and Ellen Tressel to the neighborhood.

Invitations have been sent to St. John’s neighbors, the partners of Wick Neighbors Inc., including The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, Ursuline Academy, The Mahoning County Historical Society, First Presbyterian Church, the Andrews Avenue Business Group as well as to our local government representatives. The MVR, YO Doughnut Company and Wick Neighbors will serve food at the event.
