BANKS

Farmers National Bank has welcomed Juan Santiago to its growing team of local mortgage professionals. Santiago comes to Farmers after 11 years with Home Savings & Loan Company. Santiago is a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident who studied business administration at Youngstown State University.

Brent Blaus became the vice president, financial adviser at the Cortland Investment Group. With 19 years of financial experience, Blaus considers helping customers better prepare for retirement the best part of his job.

Kim Powell, a financial adviser with Cortland Investment Group, has been promoted to vice president at Cortland Banks. Powell has more than 15 years of banking experience, with expertise ranging from traditional banking to wealth management services.

Matthew Batcho has been promoted to financial adviser with Cortland Investment Group. He previously worked as a retail investment sales assistant at Cortland Banks after serving as a licensed banking manager with Huntington Bank in Youngstown.

Carrie Stackhouse has been named vice president of commercial lending. She previously worked as a portfolio manager and assistant vice president.

Brett Gatta has been promoted to assistant vice president. Gatta has been with Cortland Banks for about five years, where he started his career in banking as a credit analyst.

John Hewitt, a credit manager, has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president. As an experienced professional, Hewitt has more than 37 years of financial experience and has been with Cortland Banks since 2005.

HEALTH CARE

Vista Care Centers has named Lauren Bako to the post of administrator of Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.

Bako is a graduate of Youngstown State University and has a bachelor’s degree in applied science in nutrition and is certified to care for those with dementia.
