Brookfield boil advisory

BROOKFIELD

The Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer’s Office issued a boil advisory Friday night for Brookfield Township customers on state Route 7 north of Warren-Sharon Road until further notice.

The boil advisory was issued because of a waterline break. A boil advisory means residents should boil tap water used for drinking for three to five minutes before consuming.

Suspect surrenders

WARREN

Terrell T. Allen, 22, of Reo Boulevard Northwest, is in the Trumbull County jail without eligibility to make bond after he surrendered Thursday night at the Warren Police Department.

A judge with Warren Municipal Court issued a warrant for Allen’s arrest earlier in the week in connection with the Tuesday shootings of three city men on Burton Street Southeast.

Allen appeared in court Friday for his arraignment. A not-guilty plea was entered for him to one count of felonious assault.

All three victims were taken to area hospitals with gunshot wounds; one is in critical condition in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
