Some downtown streets to close Sunday for race

YOUNGSTOWN — Numerous downtown streets will be closed to vehicular at different times from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, at the discretion of the police department, for the Steelathon Race.

The streets are: Walnut Street from Front to Wade streets, Wade Street from Walnut Street to Wick Avenue, Wick Avenue from Commerce to Spring streets, Bryson Street at University Plaza, East Bound Service Road from Elm Street to Fifth Avenue, Lincoln Avenue from Hazel to Phelps streets; Phelps Street from Lincoln Avenue to Rayen Avenue, Rayen Avenue from Phelps Street to Wick Avenue, and Commerce Street from Wick Avenue to Walnut Street.
