New YSU music scholarship to honor 'Squire' Hurrelbrink

YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown State University music education students will be eligible for a new $77,000 scholarship endowment in honor of the late Donald W. "Squire" Hurrelbrink, who led the Warren Junior Military Band

for 66 years.

Establishment of the scholarship was announced this morning at YSU. The endowment was established by Hurrelbrink's family and the band's alumni association.
