Benefit car show Sunday in Struthers

STRUTHERS

The second-annual Struthers Shop with a Cop car show will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Fifth Street Plaza, rain or shine.

Early registration is $8, then $10 on the day of the show; those interested can pre-register online at www.panthersrun.net. Vehicles that can take part include street rods, hot rods, classics, antiques and trucks. The event will conclude with a light parade in which cars will be decorated with Christmas lights and driven down Fifth Street.

Goodie bags and door prizes will be given out, while food will be available. Proceeds from the event will benefit Struthers Shop with a Cop — a program that gives eligible children in need $100 with which they can buy clothing and toys.
