The Second Blessing thrift store, 146 S. Broadway, Salem, is operated by Faith Chapel Fellowship, 511 E. Pershing St., Salem, with proceeds benefiting its ministries. The store also takes items on consignment with a 50-50 split.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Staff: Manager Chris Baker is a paid employee. Volunteers are Dave Baker, Marilee and David Bodendorfer, Lynn Bennett, Nancy Rock, Deb Vahalik, Mark McMahon and Kathy Taucher.

Specials: Monday is ladies day; Tuesday is 50 percent off donated merchandise; Wednesday is seniors day; Thursday is toddlers day; Friday is men’s day; and Saturday, household and decorations day. These days offer a 25 percent discount.

Inventory: Merchandise includes men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, furniture, small appliances, housewares, seasonal and decorative items, sporting goods and tools.
