Man shot on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN

Police continue their investigation today for clues and possible suspects in a shooting at the corner of South and East Dewey avenues on the South Side about 9:15 p.m. Monday.

A man was shot in his car and taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center by private car, police believe.

Robbery is thought to be the motive, but further details were not available as of press time late Monday.

Police believe the victim was shot in the head.

Police also were questioning two teenagers late Monday as to what they may have seen.

A report from Vindicator news partner 21 WFMJ-TV said police were looking for two suspects.
