Police say a man they spotted who fell off a bicycle early Monday morning was wanted on warrant charging him with driving under the influence.
An officer on patrol noticed a bicycle on the ground about 12:40 a.m. Monday at Glenwood and Lake avenues and when he went to investigate he found Dennis Bruce, 32, of Spring Meadow Circle, in a nearby yard.
Reports said Bruce told the officer he was riding the bicycle and fell on the ground and had been drinking. A records check revealed the warrant, which is out of municipal court. He was arrested on the warrant and taken to the Mahoning County jail.
