Campbell store robbed this evening

CAMPBELL — City police said a man robbed the Family Dollar in the 300 block of Robinson Road at 8:40 p.m.

After robbing the cashier at gunpoint, he got away with an undetermined amount of cash in the register.

Police were still at the scene an hour later looking for evidence and watching surveillance videos.

Employees said they believe the man fled on foot.

He was wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt with black or blue writing on it and blue jeans. He is about 6 feet 4 inches tall.
