Mr. and Mrs. Wade C. Payne
COLUMBIANA
Wade C. (Buz) and Sandra J. Payne of Columbiana celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23 at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton with a dinner party given by their sons, Kevin C. of New Waterford, and Darryl W. of Leetonia. They also have a grandson, Dylan W. Payne.
Mr. Payne married the former Sandra J. Sclimenti-Lodwick on Aug. 25, 1964, at Indianola United Methodist Church in Youngstown. The couple are members of East Fairfield United Methodist Church in New Waterford.
Mr. Payne retired from Commercial Intertech/Parker Hannifin of Youngstown in 2001 after working for 36 years as a machine operator. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran. He served in active duty for four years and was a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve for 22 years.
Mrs. Payne was a loan officer and supervisor at Ohio Edison Penn Power Credit Union Inc. in Youngstown for 18 years.
