BOOSTERS

Girard High School Band Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the high school.

CLASSES

The Rayen School Class of 1959 will meet for its monthly luncheon at noon Wednesday at Stonebridge Grille and Tavern, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. All classmates are welcome. The club meets the third Wednesday each month.

South High School Alumni Association, after a brief summer break, will meet at noon Wednesday at TJ’s in Holiday Inn on South Avenue in Boardman. CLUBS

Chapter CE of the PEO Sisterhood will have a regular meeting at noon on Wednesday at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The program is a chapter visit by Jan Knuckey, PEO Ohio state board vice president. Hostesses are Mollie Turner, Betty Whitman and Deborah Brocker.

Kent State University Mother’s Club will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road in Austintown. Hostesses will be Susan Campbell, Emmalyn Borak and Mary Beth Partika. Mahoning Valley Retreads, a group of motorcyclists, will be meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 at Denny’s Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. That Quilt Group I Belong To will have its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. They will be gift wrapped in an autumn or Christmas theme.

Seton III will meet Sunday at St. Charles Church, Boardman. The annual meeting will begin with a Mass at 10:45 a.m., and a catered brunch will follow in St. Matthew’s Hall. The officers of Seton III will host the event. Junior Seton Circle and Seton IV also will attend.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network is beginning an additional monthly support group meeting on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine’s Family Center, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton. The lecture next week will include a question and answer session that will describe characteristic symptoms, standard diagnostic procedures, current medications formulated to slow the disease progression and characteristic behaviors observed over time. The presenter will be Dr. Charles Wilkins of St. Elizabeth Health Center. Printed materials will be distributed. Reservations may be made by calling the Alzheimer Network at 330-788-9755.

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St., Girard, and at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine Family Center, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton.
