The Ohio Laborers District Council has endorsed Gov. John Kasich and Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor. The endorsement took place at a gas line site on Market Street with members of the Ohio Laborers Local 125 in attendance.
“As long as you have work for our members we are going to support you,” said Ken Holland, secretary treasurer for the Ohio Laborers’ District Council.
The council represents 24 locals in the state with approximately 25,000 members. Holland credited Kasich’s efforts for a 15 percent increase in man hours.
“Ohio is coming back and we’ve got to do it together,” Kasich said.
