Township police are investigating a case of theft in which someone stole two coin changers from apartment buildings on Washington Blvd.
According to a police report filed Tuesday, the property manager told police she went to check on one of the buildings Saturday after tenants were evicted from their apartment, when she discovered a coin changer missing from the laundry room.
She then discovered a coin changer was missing from another rental property she manages on Washington Blvd.
The machines are valued at $1,700 each, and each contained about $525.
The property manager told police that a witness on the street saw two men take one of the machines and put it in a truck.
