Grove City College is the No. 1 most-affordable college with a high four-year graduation rate, according to Best Choice Schools, a leading online resource for those deciding where to go to college.
Grove City College’s 78 percent four-year graduation rate and $14,880-a-year tuition secured it the top spot on the 20-school list, ahead of some of the nation’s leading private and public schools.
That graduation rate surpasses the nationwide average, which is a testament to Grove City’s commitment to making sure students succeed. Rigorous academics are part of the college’s central mission, along with providing a thoroughly Christian environment for learning and affordability for all students.
Grove City College’s tuition is about half of that charged by comparative four-year colleges.
Best Choice Schools crafted its list based on U.S. News & World Report rankings of the 100 accredited schools with the highest four-year graduation rate and the schools’ tuition rates.
“Completing an undergraduate degree in four years is not only easier on the budget, but it means getting out into the workforce earlier than students who need more time to graduate. Choosing an affordable college is a great move, since you can still get a good education without paying the higher tuition rates that other schools are charging,” Best Choice Schools said.
