Tonight’s episode includes movers and shakers including Julia Child and Christopher Columbus.

“Lost Songs: THE BASEMENT TAPES CONTINUED” (9 P.M., SHOWTIME): Musicians including Elvis Costello create new songs from newly discovered lyrics written by Bob Dylan.

Opera selections by Dana students

YOUNGSTOWN

The Dana School of Music will present Opera Gala at 7:30 p.m. today in Bliss Recital Hall, on the Youngs-town State University campus. Admission is free.

A program of opera selections will be sung by students Victor Cardamone, Rebecca Enlow, Sierra McCorvey, Kathleen Bachtel, Anthony Humphrey and Dean LaSalandra, and recent graduate Lauren Corcoran.

B.E. Taylor coming to Scottish Rite

NEW CASTLE, PA.

B.E. Taylor will bring his annual Christmas concert to the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 E. Lincoln Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19.
