MINERAL RIDGE — The Weathersfield Police and Fire departments will participate in a Child Safety Day from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at Seaborn Elementary, 3800 Niles Carver Road.
The police department will be hosting a stranger-danger presentation, and the fire department will host a safety presentation.
