SALEM
In a noon ceremony Oct. 2, Darla J. Mellinger and John C. Banner, both of Salem, exchanged vows at Salem Historical Society’s Heritage Gardens. The officiant was the Rev. Bruce R. Irwin.
The bride’s dress was a vintage-inspired ivory tea-length princess style featuring a V-neckline, cap sleeves and a criss-cross bodice with layers of vintage tulle and satin lace trim.
They honeymooned at French Polynesia Archipelago and islands.
The couple are both retired.
