Warriors Inc., 2733 Market St., will host a 2014 Summer Youth Leadership Program for children age 12 to 17 from June 16 to Aug. 22. Transportation, breakfast and lunch will be provided to participants.
The daily schedule for the camp, which will run Mondays through Fridays, will include: pickup, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.; breakfast, 8:45 to 9; lunch, noon to 12:45 p.m.; morning programs, 10 to 11:45 and afternoon programs, 1 to 2 p.m.; and transportation home, 2 to 3 p.m.
Planned programs include gardening and leadership Mondays; hiking, walking or outdoor park activities and Bible study, scripture and games Tuesdays; gardening and creative expressions Wednesdays; “Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs” and health and nutrition with the OSU Extension Thursdays; and chess and bike club Fridays.
