The bride-elect is the daughter of Janica Powers of Canfield and Tom Powers of East Palestine. She is employed as a dental assistant in Poland.
The prospective groom is the son of Mike and Becky Minamyer of New Waterford. He is employed as a welder in New Middletown.
The couple are planning a late summer wedding.
