AUCTIONS

Victory Christian School, 2053 Pleasant Valley Road, Niles, will host its 15th Annual Benefit Auction and Dinner on Friday. Silent auctions start at 5 p.m., and the live auction begins at 7. Items include themed baskets, Werner Ladders, restaurant and entertainment tickets, autographed items from Cleveland sports teams, Kalahari Resort gift certificates and Walt Disney World Tickets. Dinner will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Call the school for advance reservations at 330-539-9827. Victory Christian School is inside Pleasant Valley Church.

BINGO, CARD PARTIES

St. Brendan Church will host its annual spring card and bingo party at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Maxwell Hall, 2800 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown. Admission of $5 includes lunch. Tickets will be sold at the door. Enter from the back parking lot. The Altar and Rosary Society is sponsoring the event.

St. Jude Church, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, will host a super bingo Sunday. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. for lunch, and games begin at 2. A $25 donation will provide free daubers, coffee or pop for the day, cards for all games and a chance to win $3,400 in cash prizes. Specials will be sold separately. St. Patrick Altar and Rosary Society will host its Spring Card and Bingo Social from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the church hall, 357 N. Main St., Hubbard. Admission is $5 at the door. A light lunch will be served, and there will be table prizes, door prizes, a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle.

CASINO NIGHTS

Berlin Township Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Casino Night on Saturday at The Georgetown in Boardman. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for dinner, and gaming will take place from 8 to 11. Dinner will be an all-you-can-eat buffet for $50 a ticket.

CRAFT SHOWS

First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, will host an Easter Craft Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be local crafters and food vendors selling homemade baked goods, maple syrup, candy and more. Also planned is a 50-50 raffle.

FLEA MARKETS

Saxon Ladies Society Branch 22 will host an indoor flea market and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Saxon Club Ballroom, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Lunch will be available after 11 a.m. (eat in or takeout) and will include chicken dumpling soup, German sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, sauerkraut, chips, soft drinks and coffee. A $1 grocery-bag sale will take place at 1:30 p.m. (no jewelry).

St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, is having a flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 11 and 12. Vendors are welcome. Kielbasa, haluski and other foods will be available. For information call the Rev. Andrew Gromm at 330-799-8133.

FUNDRAISERS

Community Bill of Rights will benefit from a fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Boxcar Lounge, next to the B&O Station on Mahoning Avenue., Youngstown. There will be a Mediterranean-style food bar, music, games and fun. CBR also will benefit from a bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at a farmers market at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St.

SALES

Braceville United Methodist Church, 589 Park Road, in the center of Braceville off state Route 82, will have its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday, which will be $1-a-bag day. A bake sale and light lunch will be available Thursday.

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will host a rummage sale from 9 to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 to 1 p.m. Saturday. Baked goods and food will be sold both days. Call the church at 330-549-2333 for information.

Trinity United Methodist Church, 2427 Columbiana Road, New Springfield, will host its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be clothing, household items, trash and treasures and miscellaneous. Lunch featuring homemade vegetable soup will be available both days. Soup also will be for sale by the quart for carryout.
