Car show is set for July 20

The Mahoning Valley Corvettes 20th annual Car Show will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 20 at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Corvettes and Greenwood Chevrolet.

The show is open to Corvettes, as well as all other cars and motorcycles. Cost to enter is $10 for cars or motorcycles. Corvette owners who are displaying their vehicles for the National Council of Corvette Clubs competition must pay $20.

Proceeds will benefit two local charities. One will be Yellow Brick Place, an organization formed to provide no-cost individual and group services for cancer patients to nourish and comfort the mind, body and spirit. The second is Burnside’s Club, another no-cost organization dedicated to the mission of taking children off the streets and providing a safe after-school environment to learn life skills. Burnside is totally staffed by a volunteer workforce.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded for all classes, including Peoples Choice Award. Entertainment will be provided by Big Rick. Food and beverages will be available.
