CANFIELD
June 2
Stolen keys: Keys were stolen at McDonald’s, 586 E. Main St. The locks were changed.
June 6
Theft: Shadin Ahmad, 40, of Neff Drive was arrested and charged with theft at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
June 13
Domestic violence: Kenneth Kuhn, no age listed, of South Raccoon Road was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.
June 15
Drug abuse: James Beebout, 44,of Densmore Ave., E. Liverpool was arrested on charges of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
June 16
Drug possession: Ashley Troy, 28, of Middletown Road, was arrested on a charge of drug possession.
Drug possession: Joseph Colapietro, 18, of Hickory Trace, Salem, was arrested on charges of drug possession and loud stereo.

Drug paraphernalia: Zachary McFall, 18, of Bradford Drive, was arrested on a charge of drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: Robert Childs, 19, of Beachwood Drive, Boardman, surrendered himself on a warrant out of Canfield Mayor’s court for failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Drug abuse: Monica Veal, 35, of Greenock Ct., Columbus, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse and Torelana Davis, 35, of Kings Rowe Court, Columbus, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse.

June 16
Disturbance: Neighbors were involved in a disturbance in the 3000 block of Huntmere Avenue.
Aggravated burglary: Joseph McCale, 54, homeless, was arrested on a burglary charge at Five Room Lodge, 5538 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: A wallet and its contents were recovered at McDonald’s, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A firearm was stolen from a house in the 4000 block of New Road.
June 17
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was keyed at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: The vinyl sides on a trailer were cut at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Recovered property: A wallet and contents were recovered at Flynn’s Tire, 4985 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A television was taken at a home in the 100 block of South Kimberly Ave.
Lost or stolen property: A green iPhone with a black case was lost or stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Obstructing official business: William Finley, 57, of Lake Center Street, Uniontown, was issued a summons for obstructing official business.
Criminal trespass: Chad Kimble, 32, homeless, was arrested on a charge of criminal damaging at Save-A-Step, 4226 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto at Superior Beverage, 425 Victoria Road.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Viola Drive.
June 18
Drug offense: David Figueroa, 39, of Osborne St., was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana.
Drug offense: Mathew Johnson, 20, of Fairview Drive was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
Bomb threat: There is a male suspect who made a bomb threat at McDonald’s, 1709 S. Raccoon Road.
Domestic violence: John Petrello, 32, of Carnegie Ave. was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.
June 19
Warrant: James Sheets,28, of Midland Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for theft.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A bedroom was ransacked and jewelry, a camera and an iPhone were stolen at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.
June 20
Drug offense: Darrick McGahee, 39, of Maple Circle was issued two summonses for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Breaking and entering: Model trains and cars were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Rosemont Avenue.
June 21
Theft: A yellow BMX Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a home in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Lorie Hamley, 48, of East Rockwell Road, was arrested on charges of theft and complicity; and Michael Albright, 54, of the same address was charged with complicity and violation of a court protective order in the theft of $35.22 in merchandise at Walmart.
Drug offense: A false prescription was passed at Walgreen’s, 40 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: The license plate for an auto was stolen in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Warrant: Matthew Clark, 30, of North Yorkshire Boulevard was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.
June 22
Vandalism: Five vehicles were damaged at Struthers Auto Mall, 4375 Mahoning Ave. Vittorio Pace, 22, of Starwick Drive was charged with vandalism.
Drug offense: Desmov Parish, 24, of Peace Street, Warren was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
Recovered property: A credit card was recovered at a home in the 200 block of N. Turner Road.
Theft: A man took two pillows and a comforter set at JC Penney,6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $150 was paid for fake concert tickets.
Criminal damage: The window of a vehicle was shattered at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.
Theft: A juvenile took fishing equipment and an ultra duster at Walmart.
Warrant: Michael Ramon, 29, of Rhode Island Drive was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of falsification and obstructing official business.
Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed at a home in the 5000 block of Argonne Drive.
Disorderly conduct: Adam Bowden, 35,of Nantucket Drive was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Ice House Beach Shack, 5516 W. Webb Road.
POLAND
June 17
Assault: A Via Siena Drive man told officers he was assaulted.
June 18
Arrest: Donna M. Zdrillich, 72, of Polo Boulevard, Poland, was arrested on a Struthers Municipal Court warrant charging failure to appear in court, though a judge dismissed it and she was released.
June 21
Aggravated menacing: Two people, including a Poland Avenue man, reported having been threatened while in the 2300 block of Edgewater Drive.
Theft: An Arrel Road man discovered about $3,000 worth of silver coins stolen.
BOARDMAN
June 21
Arrest: A vehicle registration check near Zedaker Drive led to James E. Scott Jr.’s arrest. Scott, who listed Youngstown addresses on Pointview Drive and East Lucius Avenue, was wanted on a bench warrant charging him with a probation violation.
Burglary: Took place in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue via an unlocked door. A 42-inch flat-screen TV, jewelry, assorted medications and $75 were taken.
Criminal damaging: Someone drove through and damaged part of a lawn in the 5900 block of Glenridge Road.
Theft: A woman at a Market Street motel told officers she gave $59 to a friend to buy groceries, but that the person failed to do so and instead took the money.
Threats: Jeffrey J. Moore of Ewing Road, Boardman, was charged with making domestic-violence threats after his mother alleged Moore, 18, had threatened to kill her and himself.
Domestic violence: Arelis M. Jankovich, 22, of Moyer Avenue, Boardman, was charged with the crime after her father alleged Jankovich had punched his face, chest and back, then scratched him during an argument related to personal issues.
Theft: Jasmine R. Starks, 22, and Lakeisha L. Cotton, 21, both of West Delason Avenue, Youngstown, were charged with stealing merchandise, including a pair of shoes, from JC Penney in Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police charged 21-year-old Daniel S. Hribar Jr. of Main Street, Washingtonville, and 54-year-old Christine M. Langas, same address, in the theft of $467 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Intimidation: A Meadowbrook Avenue man told officers a woman sent him unwanted text messages, including a threat if he failed to drop charges in a criminal case.
Theft: A man in a blue bandanna and shorts and black shirt stole a bed-sheet set and bath towels valued at a total of $200 from Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft/damage: Someone broke into a dispenser at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road, and removed an undisclosed amount of change.
Domestic violence: Michael D. Dials and Jennifer G. Zena, both 27 and of Prestwick Drive, Boardman, were charged. Zena’s mother alleged her daughter had shoved and knocked the accuser backward during an argument; Zena alleged Dials, her boyfriend, had struck her face, resulting in a red mark and swelling.
June 22
Aggravated menacing: A charge was pending against a 17-year-old Youngstown boy after a reported attempted robbery in the 4000 block of Hillman Way in which a male told authorities several juveniles had demanded his bicycle. Another man confronted the teens, one of whom revealed a firearm in his waistband, police said.
Arrest: Ryan N. Combs, 21, of Main Street, New Middletown, faced a charge of operating a vehicle impaired after his car reportedly caught the attention of officers at a police checkpoint near U.S. Route 224.
Assault: A South Avenue woman reported that during an altercation, an intoxicated neighbor pushed and slapped her, then spit in her face.
Breaking and entering: A 3,500-watt portable generator was removed from a garage in the 5400 block of South Avenue.
Burglary: To an apartment in the 60 block of Shields Road after a door had been forcibly opened. Stolen were two DVD players and a vacuum cleaner.
Citations: Township police issued minor-misdemeanor citations charging Monica C. Veal and Torelena Davis, both 35 and of Columbus, with marijuana possession during a traffic stop near U.S. Route 224 and California Avenue.
Criminal damaging: All of a car’s tires were damaged in the 4700 block of Southern Boulevard. Damage came to $600.
Theft: Shavon U. Hasley, 19, of Erie Street, Youngstown, was charged, accused of stealing $45 worth of clothing, including swimwear, from Walmart.
Weapon: Michael R. Higgins, 21, of Westview Drive, Warren, was taken into custody at a police checkpoint near California Avenue on a felony charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Higgins had an unloaded .45-caliber handgun and ammunition within reach but admitted having no concealed-carry permit, a report said.
June 23
Drugs: Authorities received information about an apparent erratic driver on Market Street before charging 27-year-old Nicole L. Jarome with possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Jarome, of Neil Street, Niles, had a hypodermic needle and spoon, both with suspected heroin residue, police said.
Harassment: An Aylesboro Avenue woman said numerous cash-advance agencies have called her, apparently in an effort to contact the woman who had resided at the home before the accuser.
Indecency: A worker with a Mathews Road day care center told authorities a man exposed himself while she was in the parking lot.
Menacing: A Tudor Lane woman said her former boyfriend has been harassing her and showed up across the street from her home.
Theft: Authorities took into custody 36-year-old Nicole L. Busico at her Hitchcock Road residence on a felony-theft charge after a family member alleged the Boardman woman had made $2,200 worth of unauthorized withdrawals from an account in May.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered an apartment in the 20 block of Carter Circle and stole numerous tools and accessories.
Stolen property: Authorities picked up Larry J. Willrich, 47, of Wakefield Avenue, Youngstown, in Campbell and charged him with one felony count each of receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card. A Youngstown woman reported Dec. 12, 2013, that her bank card was missing while she was at a Youngstown-Poland Road automated-teller machine, then discovered it had been used without consent.
June 24
Arrest: Officers dealt with a vehicular crash with possible injuries near Market Street and Stadium Drive, where they charged 61-year-old Phillip C. Andrews of Riverside Drive, Boardman, with operating a vehicle impaired.
Attempted theft by deception: A Wildwood Drive woman told authorities a caller claimed she had won $1.5 million and said she first needed to send $250 so the prize could be awarded.
Theft: Nineteen gallons of gasoline were stolen from a BP station, 310 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Domestic violence: Tasha A. Gustafson, 31, of South Avenue, Boardman, faced a charge after her husband alleged Gustafson had threatened to burn him and their animals alive during an argument related to finances.
Theft: A Poland man told police he paid $4,841 for roof repairs to a Centervale Avenue home, but that the contractor failed to finish the work.
Theft: A woman discovered a checkbook and various medications missing from the basement of her Hitchcock Road residence.
Theft by deception: An Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles investigator issued citations to a Boardman-Canfield Road dealership after reportedly finding paperwork irregularities.
Theft: A Shields Road woman reported her two dogs missing.
June 25
Arrests: A suspicious van in the 8500 block of Hitchcock Road caught officers’ attention before they charged two 16-year-old township boys with obstructing official business. The teens gave false dates of birth in an attempt to pass themselves off as adults, police contended.
Drugs: Authorities responded to a man reportedly passed out in an Applewood Boulevard restaurant’s restroom before charging Christopher J. Uscianowski of Unity Road, New Springfield, with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments. The 26-year-old Uscianowski had a hypodermic needle and a spoon with burn marks common in drug use, a report stated.
Theft: Lisa M. Leyman of Lodwick Drive Northwest, Warren, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Market Street. Leyman, 39, was wanted on a Niles warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court on a theft charge.
