The American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley will present its Dog First Aid course from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Youngstown All-Breed Training Club, at 13210 Mahoning Ave.
Pre-registration is required. Register at www.redcross.org or call 1-800-733-2767 and ask for Offering No. 03009642. The $50 fee includes a Dog 1st Aid manual and DVD.
Learn everything from rescue breathing and CPR to how to treat dehydration, bone and soft-tissue injuries, poisoning and even how to rescue your dog from choking.
Mannequins will be provided for the training. No live animals are allowed during the class. For information, call 330-392-2551.
