Stanley was accused of killing Elliot Stewart, 25, and wounding his 26-year-old brother about 5:20 p.m. Nov. 15 outside a Southern Boulevard business.

Police said Elliot Stewart was shot after he tried to break up an argument between two women and that Stanley was upset Stewart intervened.

Jurors began hearing testimony Tuesday, heard closing arguments late Wednesday afternoon and returned their verdicts at 7 p.m., about two hours after they started deliberating.
