Campbell police investigate theft from car

CAMPBELL

City police are investigating a report of theft from a homeowner in the 100 block of Fairdale Avenue.

The 24-year-old homeowner told police that he had parked his car in front of his residence at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, then found the driver's side window to his car forced down and off the track shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Missing from the car was a wallet containing several forms of identification, including the man's Social Security card and birth certificate; a bank card; and $82 in cash.

The investigation is pending.
