The Poland Village Business Association will host a walking tour of Poland Village from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 28 during the Celebrate Poland festival. People can walk from business to business in the Village to receive free giveaways and register to win gift baskets.

The event starts at either Village Hall or Town One Square. During those hours, Kravitz Delicatessen in the Poland Library will be offering corned-beef sandwiches for $5 and free cookies.

The Martial Arts Training Center, Special Touch Salon, and Consign and Design in Town One Square also all have special offers during the event.

West plans to hire

West Corp., a provider of technology-enabled communication services, is hiring more than 150 customer-care associates as it expands into the health care market. West will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 2 and 3 at West’s office at 5185 Youngstown- Warren Road in Niles. These customer-care associate positions focus on customer service related to billing, payments, order fulfillment and general customer inquiries. Applicants are required to have intermediate level computer, typing and grammar skills.
