BANKing

First National Bank of Pennsylvania, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B., has announced recent new hires and a promotion.

Jason D. Klein was hired as chief investment officer. Klein’s primary responsibilities include managing the investment portfolio of the bank and its main subsidiaries, conducting investment security analysis and balancing portfolio risk and return with corporate objectives. Klein comes to First National with more than 16 years of experience.

John E. Daniels Jr. was hired as supervisor of mortgage systems and operations. Daniels comes to the company with more than 19 years of industry experience in information technology.

Timothy B. Atkinson was hired as mortgage loan officer and area manager. He is responsible for the origination of residential mortgage loans and the overall growth of the sales team. Atkinson has more than 20 years of industry experience in mortgage origination.

Michael A. Myers recently was named the vice president and enterprise risk management administrator for First National Bank of Pennsylvania. Myers will be responsible for the development and support of the company’s enterprise risk management and procedures. He has 10 years of experience in the industry and is a certified internal auditor.

TECHNOLOGY

Hilltop Technologies, a telecommunications provider, hired Paul Kochanek as regional director of sales. Kochanek is responsible for managing the sales department and growing company revenue. He will be based out of the company headquarters in Suffield, Conn., and oversee the broader geographic markets that Hilltop Technologies serves throughout New England, New York and Ohio.

Sharon Regional Health System has received the Mission: Lifeline Bronze Receiving Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality-improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.
