Girard Historical Society is preparing for upcoming events this month at the Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St.
Open house is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and will feature a Victorian theme.
At 2 p.m. June 28 the society will host its biannual tea. Reservations are required, and there will be prizes for the best hat.
The Barnhisel House is one of the oldest remaining structures in Trumbull County and features a historical marker.
