POLAND — Law-enforcement officials arrested a fifth person early today who purportedly was involved in a series of break-ins that occurred Tuesday.

Charges against Mark Mansfield, 30, of Niles, have yet to be announced by Poland Township police.

Mansfield is the fifth suspect to be arrested after a spree of break-ins into unlocked cars in residential developments. Keith Sarrach, 23, Roxann Putnam, 32, Rex Putnam, and Tera Watters, 24, all of Niles, were arrested earlier this week.
